Weekly Temperature Outlook

There will be quite a temperature contrast across Canada this week.

The Northwest Territories, Yukon, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and most of Manitoba will experience above normal temperatures.

Nunavut and the eastern half of the country will see temperatures below normal.

In the west temperatures will run about three to five degrees above normal. The only exception to that is extreme northeastern Saskatchewan and northern Manitoba where temperatures will be a touch cooler.

In Newfoundland, temperatures will be about a degree below seasonal. Across the Maritimes, temperatures will be around two degrees below seasonal. Ontario and Quebec will be around two to four degrees below the average.

The only areas we are watching this week for significant precipitation is Newfoundland and Labrador, the St. Lawrence River, and coastal British Columbia.
