WestJet Flight Gets Stuck in Snow

A WestJet flight from Toronto that landed in Winnipeg in a snowstorm got stuck on Friday night in the midst of a snowstorm.

The plane went off the edge of the taxiway where it got stuck in the snow.

The airport arranged for city buses to come and get the passengers from the taxiway to the terminal.

The roughly 150 passengers were not harmed and there was no damage to the aircraft.

Operations at the airport were not impacted, however, due to the storm, there were at least two dozen flights canceled.
