Wildfire in Alaska Burns Over 50 Structures


A wildfire in Alaska has burned at least 50 structures, forced several evacuations, and rescues.


The fire is burning north of Wasilla along the Parks Highway, which runs between Anchorage and Fairbanks.


Strong winds have been assisting the wildfire in spreading.


The fire was started when a tree fell onto a power line.


So far it has burned 4.6 square miles of land.


There were no reports of any injuries.
