California Forest Fire Doubles in Size in One Day

The Hog Fire burning in northeastern California has prompted evacuations of nearly 200 families.

Yesterday the fire doubled in size and so far has burned nearly 50 square kilometres.

The fire is threatening nearly 200 buildings.

It started on July 18th and is currently zero percent contained.
