More severe weather is expected across the southeastern United States today. After severe weather on Monday, the threat shifts eastward today.
There is a risk of severe thunderstorms across parts of the central Gulf Coast states into the Tennessee Valley.
There is a risk of tornadoes, strong winds, and large hail. The greatest risk for severe thunderstorms is from southeast Louisiana into southern Mississippi and southern/central Alabama.
On Wednesday some severe thunderstorms could occur across portions of the Southeast and Carolinas.
