One person is dead and five others remain missing after a group of snowmobilers went through the ice in the Lac Saint-Jean area of Quebec on Tuesday night.
At the time they were on a tour.
Quebec provincial police say that they have located two snowmobiles underwater but the snowmobiles have yet to be brought to the surface.
To make matters worse a helicopter crashed into the water that was operated by the Quebec provincial police. The pilot was injured.
The Transportation Safety Board of Canada is investigating.
