Officials say that 28 people have been killed in wildfires in South Korea. These wildfires are the largest in the country's history.

The fires have displaced thousands of people. The fires are occurring in the central and southern portions of the country.

Since March 21, there have been more than 20 separate blazes occurring simultaneously across the country.

Strong winds and dry weather have allowed the wildfires to spread quickly. Multiple fires are believed to have been caused by humans.
