Early this morning there was an earthquake in Quebec.

The magnitude 3.6 earthquake was centred 35 km west-southwest of Sorel-Tracy, QC and 39 km north-northeast of Montreal, QC.

The earthquake was lightly felt.

No damage was reported and none would be expected.

Back on March 6th, there was a 3.3 magnitude earthquake 15 km northeast of Montreal, QC.
