4th of July Forecast

July 4th is Independence Day in America, it's a day most people spend outside. Unfortunately, if your plans involve the great outdoors, you might want a backup plan as most of the country will see unsettled weather.

An area of rain and thunderstorms are expected across the Northeast and Southeast. The Great Lakes region will remain dry. Heavy rain and flash flooding will be a concern across the Northeast.


Rain and thunderstorms are expected across the Rocky Mountains and the Plains. The Upper Mississippi Valley and Central Plains will see a risk of heavy rain and flash flooding. Clear skies are expected across the Southwest with hazardous heat in the Desert Southwest.


Along the Pacific states, mostly clear skies are expected. Hazardous heat will be a concern in the Pacific Northwest.
