6.3 Magnitude Earthquake of BC Coast


There has been another earthquake off the coast of British Columbia.


On Christmas Eve at 6:36 pm, a 6.3 magnitude earthquake was recorded 334.3 km west-northwest of Tofino, BC at a depth of 10 kilometres.


It has been an active week off the coast of British Columbia. Back on Monday, four earthquakes struck off the Pacific coast.


There was no tsunami danger and there were no reports of any injuries.


British Columbia is located in a seismically active area.
