6.3 Magnitude Earthquake South of Tonga

There was a 6.3 magnitude earthquake 678.2 km south of Ohonua, Tonga.

It occurred on Friday evening at a depth of 10 kilometres.

The earthquake occurred in the ocean and was not a strong earthquake.

There were no injuries and no reports of damage, nor would any be expected.
