On Monday, an area of low pressure will form over southern Alberta and will bring snow to the southern Prairies.

Most areas are expected to receive between 5 and 15 cm of snow.

The system will also be accompanied by gusty winds, resulting in blowing snow and reduced visibility.

Areas such as Regina, Saskatchewan and Brandon, Manitoba are likely to see the most snow from this event.
