Alberta receives significant snowfall from two day storm

It has been a stormy couple of days across Alberta. A winter storm brought snow and blowing snow to the majority of the province between February 16 to 18, 2026.


The following is a summary of snowfall reports received during and following the event.

  • Widewater: 26.2 cm

  • Sundre: 24.6 cm

  • Calgary: 22.9 cm

  • St. Albert: 21.3 cm

  • Taylorville:17.0 cm

  • Dogpound: 15.2 cm

  • Sherwood Park:14.5 cm

  • Wainwright: 14.2 cm

  • Lavoy: 14.0 cm

  • Devon: 14.0 cm
