Another tornado has been confirmed in Alberta.
On Wednesday a strong low pressure system affecting Alberta brought severe weather to some locations.
The confirmed tornado occurred at approximately 1:50 pm MDT Northeast of Waskatenau. There was no damage reported and it was assigned a rating of EF0 with estimated wind speeds between 90 and 130 km/h.
This is Alberta's 18th tornado to date in 2019.
Just west of Lloydminster on Wednesday afternoon there was also a report of toonie sized hail (29 mm).
