Another large earthquake strikes Afghanistan

Afghanistan has been rocked by yet another powerful earthquake.


This is the third large earthquake to strike the nation in a week. The magnitude 6.3 earthquake was located 30 km north-northwest of Herāt, Afghanistan and was at a depth of 6.3 kilometres.


The earthquake occurred on Sunday at 8:06 a.m. local time.


Local officials say that at least one person has died and about 100 were injured. More homes were destroyed by this earthquake.
