Nova Scotia
A low pressure system will pass south of Nova Scotia on Wednesday and will bring snow to the province.
Most of Nova Scotia will receive 10 to 15 cm of snow with higher amounts possible. Areas along the Atlantic Coast could see up to 20 cm.
Snow will begin over western Nova Scotia on Wednesday morning and move eastward across the province through the day, reaching Cape Breton by Wednesday evening. Snow will taper to flurries on Wednesday night over most areas, but will likely persist into Thursday over eastern Nova Scotia.
Newfoundland
Snow will move into Newfoundland overnight Wednesday and Thursday.
General snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm are expected. Areas along the northeast coast and the Great Northern Peninsula could see up to 20 cm.
Gusty winds are also expected.
