An atmospheric river continues to impact the South Coast of British Columbia. Heavy rain is expected through Friday.


Across western Vancouver Island, up to 120 mm of rain is expected.


The Fraser Valley will see rainfall amounts between 100 and 120 mm.


Metro Vancouver northeast, including Coquitlam and Maple Ridge, will receive 80 and 130 mm of rain.


Below is a list of rainfall amounts thus far:

  • UBC Research (Maple Ridge): 94 mm

  • Coquitlam: 89 mm

  • Rocky Point Park: 80 mm

  • Burnaby Mountain: 78 mm

  • Pitt Meadows: 65 mm

  • Johnson Hill (Port Mann Bridge): 56 mm

  • West Vancouver: 38 mm

  • Haig Camp: 60 mm

  • Ford Mountain: 50 mm

  • Hope Airport: 49 mm

  • Agassiz: 44 mm

  • Cultus Lake: 40 mm

  • Chilliwack Airport: 35 mm

  • Bradner Road: 33 mm

  • Abbotsford: 25 mm

  • Port Mellon: 70 mm

  • Squamish Airport: 39 mm

  • Porteau Cove: 41 mm

  • Brandywine: 25 mm

  • Whistler: 20 mm

  • Kennedy Lake (Highway Station): 86 mm Based on ECCC Data
