A blast of Arctic air is expected to grip much of Ontario overnight into Saturday morning and again into Sunday, bringing dangerous wind chill values and an increased risk of cold-related injuries.

Southwestern Ontario and the Greater Golden Horseshoe could see wind chill values approaching –30 overnight Saturday night into Sunday morning.

Central and eastern Ontario are also expected to experience severe cold, with wind chill values near –30 overnight and again Sunday morning.

In parts of southwestern Ontario, wind chill values closer to –25 are forecast overnight into Sunday morning.
