Snow is currently falling across the southern Prairies and will continue overnight and through Saturday.

Snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm are expected across southern sections of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

The snow started this morning in Southern Alberta, this afternoon in southwestern Saskatchewan, and this evening in southeastern Saskatchewan. Snow will move east eventually reaching southwestern Manitoba overnight and the Red River Valley by Saturday morning.

Winds are also gusty resulting in blowing snow in southeastern Alberta. Meanwhile, blizzard conditions are expected in southeastern Saskatchewan and parts of southwestern Manitoba.
