California Earthquake Crack a Hot Spot for Tourists

Both researchers and tourists alike have been flocking to a crack in the Earth in Southern California left behind from the strong earthquake that rocked the area a few days ago.

There is a large crack in the Mojave Desert in Southern California.

People have been posting photos on social media depicting them standing next to the crack, dropping objects into it, and reaching into it.
