Canada continues to grapple with large number of wildfires

There are 19 new wildfires burning across Canada this morning, 11 of which are human-caused and eight are from natural causes.

Of the 931 fires across Canada, 79 are out of control, 23 are being held, and 78 are under control. There are 614 fires being monitored.

The areas seeing the most wildfire activity are the Northwest Territories, British Columbia, Northern Manitoba, northwestern Ontario, and northern Quebec.

The international availability of resources is being investigated.
