CMOS holding 57th conference in St. John's

The Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society (CMOS) is holding its 57th Congress in St. John's this weekend. The event is being held in a hybrid format with opportunities for both in‑person and virtual participation.

The event will feature lectures, presentations, and networking. There will also be a public lecture with a focus on extreme events, and emergency preparedness and response.

CMOS exists for the advancement of meteorology and oceanography in Canada.

The Society’s aim is to promote meteorology and oceanography in Canada, and it is a major non-governmental organization serving the interests of meteorologists, climatologists, oceanographers, limnologists, hydrologists and cryospheric scientists in Canada.
