Deadline for Disaster Financial Assistance Funding for Hurricane Larry

The Provincial Government of Newfoundland and Labrador is reminding residents the deadline to apply for assistance under the Disaster Financial Assistance Program, for residents, businesses and communities who sustained damage during Hurricane Larry in September is approaching.

So far there have been 58 private sector claims submitted.

If residents have not yet applied because they are waiting for a response from their insurance provider, they should nevertheless apply now. Documents from insurance providers can be submitted once they have been received.

The deadline for receipt of applications is Friday, December 10.
