At least 82 people are dead, and the search is ongoing for dozens still unaccounted for after a freak flooding event in Texas.
Camp Mystic has confirmed that 27 campers and counsellors died in the flooding.
From July 4 to 6, a large and devastating flood event took place. During the flood, water levels along the Guadalupe River rose quickly and significantly when 130 to 280 mm of rain fell in just a few hours.
The Guadalupe River runs from Kerr County, Texas, to San Antonio Bay on the Gulf Coast. It is a popular destination for rafting, fly fishing, and canoeing.
