Delta Leaves Behind Damage in Louisiana

Delta has weakened to a tropical depression but not before causing damage across portions of Louisiana.

Today the water levels are subsiding along the coast of Louisiana.

Heavy rain is expected to continue across eastern Arkansas and northern Mississippi where an additional 2 to 4 inches of rain, with isolated storm totals of 10 inches are possible.

Across northern Alabama and the Tennessee Valley into the Mid-Atlantic through the weekend might see 1 to 3 inches of rain. There is a potential for 3 to 6 inches in the Southern to Central Appalachians, which could lead to flash, urban, small stream, along with isolated minor river flooding.

There is also the potential for some tornadic activity this evening across parts of Alabama, western Georgia, and the Florida Panhandle.
