Details on the Next Storm Heading Toward Atlantic Canada


A large area of low pressure will push across Atlantic Canada beginning on Thursday night.

A rain-snow mix will push into western New Brunswick on Thursday afternoon. The rain-snow mix will transition to snow overnight. Heavy snow is expected across the province.

Snow will creep into Prince Edward Island on Thursday night before changing to rain on Friday morning.

At the onset of the storm in Nova Scotia, precipitation will fall as snow but will change to rain very quickly.

Precipitation will move into Newfoundland on Good Friday. Parts of the west coast and south coast could see some heavy snow.

All of the region will experience strong winds.
