Earthquake between Australia and Antarctica

There has been a strong earthquake off the coast of Australia. The 6.1 magnitude earthquake was centred 1483.4 km south of Geeveston, Australia.


It occurred on Saturday at 2:33 a.m. local time and was at a depth of 10 km.


It was not in an area where any damage would occur, and there was no tsunami threat.
