Earthquake off the west coast of Mexico


On Wednesday afternoon there was a 6.0 magnitude earthquake 217.9 km southwest of La Cruz de Loreto, Mexico.


The earthquake was at a depth of 8 kilometres.


There were no reports of any injuries or any damage.


The earthquake was felt along the west coast of Mexico.


A 6.0 magnitude earthquake is considered moderate. Earthquakes are frequent in the Pacific Ocean.
