Election Day Forecast

Today is election day in Canada. As Canadians, we've gone to the polls in biting cold, sweltering heat, and everything in between.

Across our country today we are looking at beautiful weather across Newfoundland and Labrador, the Maritimes, Quebec, and the eastern half of Ontario. It will be cool in Newfoundland, across the Maritimes highs will be near 20 and 20 to 25 across Quebec and Ontario.

There is a chance of showers of thunderstorms across northwestern Ontario and Manitoba. Fair skies are expected across Saskatchewan and Alberta. Highs for most areas will hover between 15 and 20 degrees.

In British Columbia, we can expect to see rain in northern sections and a mix of sun and cloud to the south with highs in the teens.

Across the north, mostly fair skies are expected.
