Officials have evacuated 200 homes in Hualapai Mountains and declared an emergency after a fire in Arizona rages out of control.

The Flag Fire more than doubled in size on Monday.

On Monday the fire site did receive some light rain. Gusty winds did make firefighting difficult.

There is a critical fire danger today for Amarillo, TX, Odessa, TX, Roswell, NM, Clovis, NM, and Hobbs, NM.

As of the last update on Monday evening an outbuilding/shed has been reported as burned.

The Red Cross is assisting those who are evacuated.
