Evacuation Order lifted for Carmangay Alberta
The village of Carmangay in Alberta was evacuated as a wildfire rages through the surrounding area.
The latest update indicated that the fire has been contained. The evacuation of the Village of Carmangay has ended.
RCMP says that one person was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
So far, the fire has scorched 5,000 hectares.
Strong winds have only exacerbated the situation.
Carmangay is a village in southern Alberta. It is located 62 kilometres north of Lethbridge and 150 kilometres south of Calgary.
