Evacuations in Porters Lake Area As Brushfire Grows

Residents are being evacuated in the Porter's Lake area of Nova Scotia as a brush fire has expanded in size.

The RCMP are advising residents that if you need to evacuate, you will be contacted directly.

Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency are fighting the blaze with about ten fire trucks dispatched.

The fire is between the West Porters Lake Road and Highway 107.

Highway 107 has been closed.
