Hot temperatures are on the way on Sunday and Monday for portions of northwestern and far northwestern Ontario.

Temperatures may approach heat warning criteria for some areas. Daytime maximum temperatures of 27 to 30°C and minimum temperatures of 14 to 18°C are expected. There is a chance that smoke from the forest fires could reduce the maximum temperatures over the area.

On Monday, temperatures may approach heat warning criteria again. Daytime maximum temperatures of 27 to 30°C are possible. Low confidence in smoke concentration for this area as changing wind directions could bring variable conditions through the day.
