Family of 11-year-old Boy Suing Texas Power Companies after Sons Dies


The family of an 11-year-old boy is suing Texas power companies after long-lived outages.


The family said Cristian Pavon died from hypothermia and was found unresponsive in the family's home in Houston on Tuesday of last week.


No official cause of death has been released by the coroner.


The family is suing for $100 million.


Texans are contending with high electricity bills since the storm caused widespread blackouts lasting days.


At least 58 people died across the United States from the storm.
