As a result of what was hurricane Laura, there is a large fire burning at a chemical plant near Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Pool and cleaning chemicals are made at the Biolab plant.

Smoke could be seen billowing from the plant and local residents are advised to stay inside, close all windows and doors, and refrain from using air conditioners.

Emergency crews had trouble reaching the plant due to all the downed trees, power lines, and debris.
