Fireball Seen Over Manitoba, Minnesota and North Dakota


The American Meteor Society has announced that they have received twelve reports of a fireball seen over Manitoba, Minnesota and North Dakota on Thursday.


The Quadrantids meteor shower is ongoing from December 27th, 2020 to January 10th, 2021. It is expected to be the strongest shower of the year.


Fireballs are defined as an extremely bright meteor, especially one that explodes in the atmosphere.
