Fires continue in Los Angeles County as Death Toll Climbs to 27

Four fires are still burning in Los Angeles County.


The Palisades Fire is 23,448 acres large and is 77 percent contained. The Eaton Fire is 95 percent contained. The Hughes Fire covers a size of 10,396 acres and is only 56 percent contained. The Sepulveda Fire is 60 percent contained.


Some rain is expected this weekend in Los Angeles, at this time, elevated fire weather conditions persist.


The LA County Medical Examiner has confirmed 27 deaths as a result of the fires.
