Flooding in Northern Iraq


Northern Iraq has once again been hit with heavy rain that has caused flooding.


The City of Mosul, about 80 kilometres west of Erbil, received 127 millimetres of rain from this most recent event.


The average rainfall for the month is 63.2 millimetres.


Many people had to be rescued by boat.


On Wednesday the City of Rabia picked up 187 mm of rainfall.
