Freezing rain and rain impacting parts of Ontario, Quebec, and New Brunswick

Eastern Ontario

Across Eastern Ontario, rain will continue overnight and into the early morning hours. Another 25 mm is expected Wednesday afternoon. Rain will change to snow in the evening. Flooding in low-lying areas could occur.

Quebec

Overnight tonight into Wednesday morning freezing rain is expected for Charlevoix, Lower St. Lawrence, and inland areas of the Gaspé Peninsula.

Rainfall amounts of 40 to 60 millimetres are expected from Wednesday morning to Thursday for the Eastern Townships, Beauce, Québec City and the North Shore.

New Brunswick

Western New Brunswick and the Fundy Coast will receive 25 to 40 mm of rain from Wednesday morning until Thursday morning. Western and central New Brunswick will also see 4 to 6 hours of freezing rain overnight tonight into Wednesday morning. Areas of western Nova Scotia will also see freezing rain this evening before a changeover to rain.
