Freezing rain this morning across eastern Ontario and Quebec

Freezing rain is expected this morning across parts of eastern Ontario and southwestern Quebec.

Ice accretion amounts of 5 to 10 mm are possible. This could lead to icy and slippery surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots. Power outages are also possible.

The freezing rain will end this afternoon or evening.
