Frigid Weather Continues to Grip Alberta #ABwx


It will continue to be cold on Monday night. Here are the expected low temperatures.

For Alberta, it will be another day of freezing cold temperatures.


Today and Tuesday, wind chill values will reach minus 40.


Almost the entire province remains encased in extreme cold warnings.


At 5:00 am the temperature in Teepee Creek was at -43.0°C with a wind chill of minus 52.


Here are some other frigid temperatures:

Ballater at 5:00 am it was -40.3°C.

Grande Prairie Airport at 5:00 am it was -40.3°C with a wind chill of -47.

La Glace at 5:00 am it was -40.2°C with a wind chill of -46.


Despite these cold temperatures, it is not the coldest in Canada, there are several places in the territories that are in some cases, 10 degrees colder.
