Frost and extreme heat in northern Ontario
The weather across northern Ontario is from one extreme to the other with frosts advisories in effect east of Thunder Bay to the Quebec border and heat warnings in northwestern Ontario.
Frost is possible this morning as temperatures are expected to drop to near zero degrees. As the day goes on the temperatures will rebound to more seasonal values.
In northwestern Ontario, daytime high temperatures are expected to be near 30 degrees, while minimum temperatures will be near 18 degrees. Humidex values will range from 34 to 37. Cooler temperatures are expected Thursday night.
