Heat event expected over northern Ontario over the next few days

Another heat event is expected across northern Ontario from Saturday to Tuesday.

Temperatures are expected to reach 30 to 35 degrees with the humidex it will feel much warmer. There will be little relief in the overnight hours because low temperatures are expected to drop to about 18 to 20 degrees.

The heat will be an issue across far northwestern Ontario and portions of northwestern Ontario on Saturday, northwestern Ontario as well as portions of far northern Ontario on Sunday, most of far northeastern Ontario and northwestern Ontario on Monday, and eastern portions of far northeastern and northeastern Ontario on Tuesday.
