Heat to Linger in SW Ontario Through Wednesday

While some areas of the country are seeing cooler temperatures as we slide into mid-September, that is not the case in Southwestern Ontario.

A heat warning is in effect for Chatham-Kent - Rondeau Park and also for Windsor - Leamington - Essex County.

Temperatures reaching 31 degrees Celsius combined with overnight lows near 21 degrees Celsius are expected for the next two days.

On Wednesday there will also be a slight risk of severe thunderstorms near Lake Erie.
