Heat warnings expand across the Prairies as temperatures climb

Hot weather continues to intensify across the Prairies, with daytime highs in the low to mid-30s spreading eastward and northward under a strong upper ridge dominating the region.

The heat is expected to continue building across Saskatchewan today before expanding into Manitoba on Thursday. Overnight temperatures are also expected to remain warm, with lows ranging from the upper teens to low 20s across much of the southern Prairies.

The prolonged stretch of heat is forecast to continue through the remainder of the week before gradually easing from west to east during the early part of next week.
