Heat Warnings in Ontario

There are heat warnings in effect across north and northwestern Ontario.

The heat is expected to linger Saturday and Sunday.

Maximum temperatures near 29 degrees are expected with minimum temperatures near 18 degrees, providing little relief from the heat.

A cold front is expected to bring a cooler airmass to the area Sunday night.

In far northwestern there is a risk of severe thunderstorms. Damaging winds and large hail are the main threats on Sunday.
