From now until at least Thursday, the eastern half of Ontario and western Quebec will see the hottest temperatures of the year.

Portions of southwestern and eastern Ontario and the Golden Horseshoe, along with southwestern areas of Quebec, are seeing temperatures soar into the mid-30s with humidex values in the low to mid-40s.

Temperatures are in the low 30s across portions of southern and northeastern Ontario.

Overnight lows are only reaching between 22 and 25 degrees.

Remember, extreme heat is dangerous to humans and animals.
