Heatwave scorching western Europe

Another heatwave is scorching western Europe.

France, Spain, and Portugal are exceeding 40 degrees Celsius. The city of Almonte in Spain hit 45.6 degrees Celsius on Wednesday.

Forest fires are raging across Spain's border near Portugal, and France is also seeing widespread fires.

The hot weather is expected to last through the end of the week.
