Heavy rain ahead for British Columbia and northern Prairies

A low over the Gulf of Alaska will reach British Columbia on Sunday and then the Prairies on Tuesday.

Heavy rain is expected across the North and Central Coast of BC. Rainfall amounts of 50 to 100 mm is possible.

From there the low will drift into the Prairies. There is a potential for significant rain from northeastern British Columbia into northern Alberta and Saskatchewan. Some areas could see over 50 mm of rain.
