Heavy Rain and Strong Wind Expected for Parts of Atlantic Canada

A large area of low pressure will bring another round of severe weather to Atlantic Canada.

The good news is that precipitation will be in the form of rain for most areas.

Rain is expected to begin this afternoon across New Brunswick and will move in to Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia this evening.

By Tuesday morning the rain will make it to western Newfoundland and to the Avalon late on Tuesday morning. There is a slight risk of freezing rain over western Newfoundland early on Tuesday morning.

Eastern Labrador will also see rain and western Labrador will see snow.
